Coronavirus Update

We thank you for your patience during this testing time. We have been working hard behind the scenes to get Volvo North East active once more in order to help our loyal customer base.

As of Monday 1st June all of our showrooms have re-opened, and we were happy to welcome back customers to take collection of their new cars, browse for their next new or used car and take test drives. Our workshops also opened fully on 1st June and we are now able to facilitate servicing, MOTs and repairs - this is currently not available at Newcastle due to refurbishment work, but we aim to up and running soon (Newcastle customers are encouraged to book into one of the other three sites during this period).

We have put in place very strict measures to ensure the safety of both our staff and customers. These include social distancing practices, thorough cleaning and regular sanitisation, and full PPE for staff members.


  • For these facilities, the three workshops are open Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm.
  • To guarantee the safety of both staff and customers in these environments as much as possible, we have implemented several steps:
  • Waiting areas are repeatedly sanitised before and during each working day.
  • Social Distancing measures are in place, with signage introduced to help with protection whilst on site, and includes hand sanitiser stations.
  • Sanitisation of your car and keys before and after any work is carried out.
  • Sanitisation of courtesy cars before your arrival.
  • Cashless payments - Card transactions only.
  • Continued use of PPE equipment by our trained technicians which includes gloves, seat covers, floor mats, steering wheel covers, gear knob covers, face masks and antibacterial wipes and sprays.
  • Clear Perspex barrier screens at all workstations in use.


  • Our showrooms are open and our online sales teams are on hand and available for you to speak to, also.
  • The teams are available Monday-Saturday during the hours of 9am - 5pm and Sunday 10.30am - 4.30pm.
  • You can reserve a car you've seen online by calling a member of our sales team or via our online chat service.
  • We have also have our video/live chat and email functionality, making the whole process of buying a car remotely a really easy and safe experience.
